In 1994, Alex Valner and Jordan Moelis meet at The Center Elementary School in Los Angeles, and a lifelong friendship begins.
From Classmates to Co-Founders
Nearly thirty years later, in 2021, their entrepreneurial journey together starts when they join forces to launch Center Capital Partners—a homage to the very place where it all began. Center Capital has always been fueled by trust, creativity, a clear vision and shared values. With a passion for building, innovation, and a desire to leave a lasting impact – Center Capital takes flight.
Our First Milestone: Sky Harbour
Center’s journey began with the closing of its first platform: Sky Harbour Group. Sky Harbour achieved rapid success, and helped to establish a roadmap for Center’s investing approach. Center Capital celebrated a major milestone with the Sky Harbour team as they announced their public offering at the New York Stock Exchange in January 2022.

Carving our Path
Since its inception, the Center Capital team hit the ground running, diving into niche, alternative asset classes. Newer, less institutionalized, and fragmented sectors provided ample growth to build Platforms. This strategic approach led us to investments in Aviation Hangars, Industrial Outdoor Storage, Student Housing, Life Sciences, and beyond, carving a unique path for Center Capital.
